Website of the week - Song Meanings

Another lyrical contemplation site for perusal. You've sorted the real lyrics from the misheard, but now... what does that song actually mean?

"SongMeanings was created when we saw a void in most of the lyric sites around -- they didn't have any user interaction. You go to the site, get your lyrics and that's about it. We're different.

We allow users to post their comments about their favorite (and not so favorite) songs and even submit their own lyrics. Our goal is to create the world's largest and most functional lyrics site, period. We also have a community aspect with user profiles, message boards and more."

This round, we looked up Slade's Run Runaway (aka Run Run Away). The lyrics appear (it's good to double check sometimes - various sites often have different lyrics for the same song!) and underneath - everyone's unique interpretations.

Some April Fool's humour for you this week. Possibly the most famous misheard lyric is Jim Hendrix's "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky (kiss this guy.)" There are thousands of artists, songs and stories. You can submit your own misheard words, comment on others OR perhaps finally sort what they really were saying! Have fun exploring and laughing along!
